Matt has devoted his legal career exclusively to family law since graduating from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2006. He has developed a practical, problem-solving approach to divorce, paternity, and custody matters, helping clients navigate what is often one of the most difficult periods of their lives.

Matt works with clients from the outset of a case to understand their options, reduce uncertainty, and develop a clear path forward. He is actively involved in both the day-to-day handling of cases and overall case strategy, with a focus on positioning clients for the best possible outcome, whether through negotiated settlement or trial. His approach is grounded in careful analysis of assets, income, and long-term implications so clients can make informed decisions, while structuring resolutions that are both practical and sustainable.

In cases involving children, Matt focuses on developing workable parenting arrangements that support long-term co-parenting success. He believes that when families reach fair and functional agreements, they are better positioned to move forward and maintain stability beyond the conclusion of the case.

Matt places a strong emphasis on efficient case management and the use of modern technology to support a well-organized and responsive practice. By integrating streamlined systems, the firm is able to reduce delays, maintain organization, and keep cases progressing in a clear and deliberate manner. This approach allows clients to stay focused on the issues that matter most while moving toward resolution in a way that is both effective and mindful of overall cost.

Matt is a member of The Missouri Bar and has been recognized as a Missouri “Super Lawyer” in the area of Family Law.
